Turban Tribe is a one of it's kind ElectroFolk band

An eclectic fusion of   electronic dance music to Manganiyar and Langa folk artists from Jaisalmer

Turban Tribe is a brainchild of Vijay Athma, who is an electronic music composer & producer. ​

Having always loved Rajasthani folk music, the idea was to give the audience a Manganiyar folk experience laced with groovy & danceable electronic tunes, so that people can actually dance and party to the folk tunes.

This led him to the sand dunes of Jaisalmer where he sourced and teamed up with highly trained folk artists.

With Maqsood Khan on vocals, Majid Khan on Khartal, Sawai Khan on Morchang & Bhapang,

Habib Khan on Sarangi and

Vijay Athma on Electronic console,

Turban Tribe was born.

Having performed to various audiences from Weddings (Mehndi/Sangeet) to Corporates and Music Festivals, Turban Tribe is a good fit for any place or occasion.
